ES TRENC BEACH MALLORCA - WHITE SAND AND TURQUOISE WATER
Es Trenc is one of Mallorca’s most beautiful beaches — and by some, even one of the most stunning beaches in Europe. This is a protected natural beach inside a national park, which means you won’t find loud water sports, jet skis, or rows of sunbeds here.
Instead, Es Trenc offers soft white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and a calm, natural atmosphere. The beach is family-friendly and suitable for everyone, including small children.
WHERE IS ES TRENC BEACH?
Es Trenc stretches for around 2.5 km between Sa Rápita and Colònia de Sant Jordi, about 50 km southeast of Palma. Thanks to its size, you can almost always find a quieter spot by walking a little further down the beach.
HOW TO GET TO ES TRENC BEACH
If you have a car, it’s easy to follow the signs. There are two main exits to Es Trenc, and both lead to the same beach. It´s approx a 45 minute drive from Ocho in Palma.
If you don’t have a car, take the local bus to Sa Rápita or Colònia de Sant Jordi, then a taxi for the last few kilometers.
BEACH BARS (CHIRINGUITOS) AND FOOD TIPS
Es Trenc has only a few restaurants and beach bars, known as chiringuitos. If you prefer not to eat on your towel, we recommend Bar Esperanza for fresh food, good drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. During high season, it’s smart to book a table in advance.
IS ES TRENC A NUDIST BEACH?
Yes and no. It´s partly for nudists. Es Trenc is one of Mallorca’s most popular beaches for nudists. The beach is long, so there’s plenty of space for everyone.
WHAT WE RECOMMEND BRINGING
Bring your own picnic, umbrella, and snorkeling gear, then find a nice spot in the sand and enjoy the view. With its turquoise water and white sand, Es Trenc is absolutely worth a visit.
