PLAYA DE MURO A FAMILY-FRIENDLY BEACH GEM IN THE NORTH

Located in the wide bay of Alcúdia, this long stretch of soft white sand and crystal-clear water is perfect for anyone looking for a calm, comfortable beach day. The water stays shallow for a long distance, which makes it ideal for small children and relaxed swimmers.

The beach is wide and generous, and even on busy days it rarely feels crowded. With smooth access for strollers and wheelchairs, Playa de Muro is truly one of the island’s most welcoming spots.

A BEAUTIFUL AND EASY BEACH FOR ALL AGES

Along the beach you’ll find everything you might want: restaurants, beach cafés, toilets, showers, sunbeds, playgrounds, and plenty of water activities. The nearby S’Albufera Natural Park adds a peaceful touch to the area — perfect for a little walk before or after your swim.

Playa de Muro is also known for its clean water and has been awarded the Blue Flag certification, making it one of Mallorca’s best-maintained beaches.

EASY TO REACH FROM PALMA - ONE HOUR HIGHWAY

The beach sits near the village of Muro, close to Alcúdia and Can Picafort. From Palma, it’s about one hour by car, making it a great choice for a full-day beach trip.

Have lunch at Ponderosa Beach, a relaxed restaurant right in the sand, or visit the newer Nu Mallorca beach club for something fresh and stylish. Both are great options after a morning of swimming.
