Mediterranean tapas in a fresh and modern beach hut in the heart of Palma. Open kitchen all day and cocktails sunset on its dreamy terrace.

We are always humble for a great pasta, especially as we know that Luigi wakes up at four in the morning to get the pasta ready. It´s all fresh, organic and handmade. What more could one ask for?

If you’re craving a true taste of Italy in Palma, Rikito in Santa Catalina is the kind of place you’ll want to keep in your back pocket. Tucked into one of the city’s most lively neighborhoods, it delivers that warm, welcoming trattoria feeling—unpretentious, cozy, and full of heart. The open kitchen sets the tone from the moment you arrive: you can see the team at work, hear the gentle clatter of plates, and feel that comforting sense that something delicious is on its way, and it´s probably one of the best restaurants in Palma.

AN ITALIAN TRATTORIA ATHMOSPHERE IN SANTA CATALINA

Rikito doesn’t try to be flashy. Instead, it leans into what matters: a relaxed room, friendly service, and food that speaks for itself. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a long dinner, share a bottle of wine, and forget you’re in the middle of Palma’s buzz, because for a moment, it feels like a neighborhood spot somewhere in Italy.

SIMPLE INGREDIENTS - BOLD FLAVORS

The menu at Rikito is all about quality over complexity. We love to come here for just that particular reason. Expect Italian favorites with a modern touch, done with confidence and care. You’ll often find beautifully fresh starters like burrata, alongside handmade pasta dishes that are simple, satisfying, and packed with flavor. Mains are equally straightforward in the best way: perfectly cooked fish or meat, often built around seasonal Mediterranean ingredients.

A special mention goes to the daily specials, which tend to highlight what’s best right now—fresh, local, and in-season.

HANDMADE PASTA AND SEASONAL SPECIALS WORTH COMING BACK FOR

This is the kind of restaurant you return to, because the menu has a rhythm and classics you can rely on, plus rotating dishes that keep things exciting. If you love pasta, Rikito is a must. The kind of “simple but perfect” plates that make you pause mid-bite and look up like… okay, wow.

A SMART AND CURATED ITALIAN WINE LIST

The wine list is short, but thoughtfully chosen. Exactly what you want in a neighborhood-style Italian restaurant. It’s not about endless options; it’s about the right ones. And if you’re unsure what to pick, the team is genuinely happy to guide you toward something that suits both your food and your mood.

A PASSION PROJECT WITH SOUL AND AN OPEN KITCHEN

What makes Rikito feel special is the spirit of the place. You can tell it’s built on passion, good food, warm hospitality, and a desire to create a restaurant people actually want to return to. The open kitchen adds to that homey feeling, and there’s often a lovely, personal touch in the way the chefs and staff interact with guests, whether it’s a quick dish recommendation, a wine pairing suggestion, or a few words about what’s on special that day.

WE RECOMMEND RIKITO BECAUSE

  • “It feels like a hidden gem, super fresh ingredients and great wine.”

  • “Best pasta I had in Palma. Simple, delicious, and made with love.”

  • “You can tell they care about every detail, from the menu to the service.”
