What: At the Pollenca market, you'll find high quality local produce. Many farmers from the area sell their own produce at the market stalls. Juicy red tomatoes, delicious seasonal fruits, free range chicken eggs, among many others.
Where: You will find the market in the town center, at Plaza Major and its surroundings. There are 300 stalls offering a diverse range of food, textiles, and crafts.
When: Pollenca Market takes place every Sunday from 08:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Fun to know: During her stay in Port de Pollença in 1935, Agatha Christie wrote the story "Problem at Pollensa Bay." The text connects us to the idyllic Port of the 1930s.
We recommend: The wonderful views from Puig de María, a small mountain near Pollensa, are worth exploring. Another recommended visit is the Campanet Caves located close to Pollensa, alongside the Hermitage of Sant Miquel and the protected natural area of "Fonts Ufanes."
