MOUNTAIN CHARM AND COASTAL BLISS - HIKE FROM DEIA TO PORT DE SOLLER

Looking for a hike that captures the very soul of Mallorca? The hike from Deia and Port de Soller is one of the island’s most magical experiences. Combining Mediterranean views, fragrant pine forests, and centuries-old stone paths.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A SCENIC TRAIL WITH TIMELESS BEAUTY

This moderate hike from Deia to Port de Soller takes around 3 to 3.5 hours, depending on your pace. Starting in the charming artist village of Deia, the trail winds along the coast with sweeping views of cliffs, olive groves, and turquoise sea. You’ll pass peaceful fincas, old shepherd shelters, and the occasional grazing goat or a donkey.

HIDDEN COVES AND PERFECT PICNICS

Along the way, keep an eye out for Cala Deia, a small rocky cove perfect for a swim or picnic. You will see the sign to Cala Deia within the first ten minutes of your hike. This hike is a sensory journey. Listen to birdsong, breathe in sea air, and enjoy the scent of rosemary and citrus along the path.

FINISH IN STYLE IN PORT DE SOLLER

The hike ends in Port de Soller, a laid-back harbor town with golden beaches, cozy cafés, and a well-deserved ice cream or cold drink. From here, you can hop on the scenic tram to Soller or take the historic train back to Palma.

It´s a bit tricky to find the path from Deia. Follow the signs. Check this link below that I borrowed from www.outdooractive.com

But it is so worth the challenge. But foremost, enjoy the hike, the magical scenery, the scents, flowers, olivetrees, view and the stillness of nature.
