Since El Camino opened its doors in 2019, the restaurant has been booked almost every night. And after eating there ourselves, we completely understand why. Just a five minute walk from Ocho Suites & Kitchen, this modern Spanish tapas bar serves simple, beautiful dishes made with local ingredients and a whole lot of heart.

My first visit left me already planning the next. The zucchini flowers stuffed with goat cheese and Mallorcan honey are unforgettable, and the grilled octopus with mojo rojo is one of those dishes that makes you stop mid-conversation and just enjoy. Truly yum.

One of the reasons we love El Camino so much is the atmosphere, it´s warm, buzzy and effortless.The entire restaurant is built around a 34-seat bar, where you sit shoulder-to-shoulder and watch the chefs cook right in front of you. There’s something intimate and exciting about seeing every dish come to life.

The wine list is excellent, with a strong focus on Mallorcan producers, and almost everything is available by the glass. The service is spot-on: friendly, fast, and attentive without ever feeling pushy. You never wait long for a refill.

RESERVE "LA MESA" - THE ONLY TABLE FOR GROUPS

El Camino only has one table, called La Mesa, and it can be reserved for groups up to eight people — perfect for families, friends, or a small business dinner.

The interior, designed by Elsa Olivieras, combines a stylish bistro look with warm contemporary elements. It feels modern, but still cozy and distinctly Mediterranean.

To us, this is not just one of the best restaurants in Palma, it’s the best of the top ten.
