CALÓ DES MORO

What: This was for a very long time one of the most hidden beaches on the island, but that everyone knows about now. It is only 30 meters wide and 20 meters deep. If you want a space for your towel you need to get there on time in the morning. During high season it gets really crowded. It is a bit tricky to get to the beach, and is not the best place for children since there is nowhere to play. The beach is located in a small narrow bay with beautiful turquoise water. It looks like the perfect postcard.

Caló des Moro

Where: Calo des Moro is on the south east side of the island, approximately 6 kilometers from the village of Santanyi. It takes around one hour to drive from Palma, including narrow dirt roads. The only way to get here is buy car, vespa or motorbike. You have to walk the last bit. Find it on a map here.

Fun to know: On one side of the beach, on the cliffs, there is a cave that looks like a natural pool. From here you can jump and swim at your own risk.

We recommend: Bring your food and drinks that last for the full day and also something to cover your head from the sun. There is nothing to buy or rent here.
